What is the logic behind the age restriction on using Shareplay on CarPlay?

Could someone from Apple please explain what the logic behind the age restriction on using SharePlay on CarPlay is?


my 11 year old son cannot use SharePlay but can use CarPlay to play music. Is this EU related (living in the Netherlands)


Is there an official list of the age restrictions with Apple services / products?
