I'm unable to update my Mac mini cause two-factor authorization doesn't allow me to sign in

I've been trying to update a Mac mini I just got and the two-factor authorization doesn't allow me to sign in, what can I do to solve this situation?

Is this a new Mac mini from Apple or a used Mac mini from......?

Used Mac's are a big problem, if they are not properly prepared for resale.

If this is the case, then you need to have the seller properly prepare it or return it to the seller for a full refund.
