Photo app keeps closing in seconds

I just noticed I can’t access my photo app. It closes in seconds once I try opening it. My storage is not full, my phone storage is 512GB and I have only used about 277GB of it. I have done the “reset all settings” from the transfer/reset tab, also restarted the phone several times, nothing has worked. Please, does anyone have an idea how I can resolve this?
