Sharing Imported Photos in iOS 18

Since updating to iOS 18 the photos App won’t let me share photos I have imported from my DJI Action 4. I get a message saying “Unable to Share - there was an error while preparing to share. Please try again later.” This comes up when trying to email, text, print or even sharing into other apps. What has iOS 18 changed and can I change it back in settings?
