I have a new Apple Air lap top. I'm trying to burn a music stream from I tunes to a flash drive. I would like to keep the music in the sequence and order if possible.

A "stream" is the equivalent of a broadcast. You'd need to find a way to record it first.
Or do you mean a playlist? A playlist is a group of songs you've arranged in a particular order. If these songs are from your Apple Music subscription, you can't save them to a flash drive.
Thank you. The playlist that I wanted to save was of songs not available through iTunes. Songs that I had from old vinyl and Cd's. Do you think I would have to burn to a cd and then copy on a flash drive?
I think you should be able to drag and drop them to the flash drive. You may need to then re-name the files on the flash drive so that they sort properly (e.g. put a number at the beginning of the name).
