iphone 16 camera night mode issue

Can someone help me, I'm just trying to take pictures with the Night mode on. But every time I try to take picture of the backyard with the Night mode on, it takes the picture but after processing the picture just shows dark screen. (Even I was trying to send the picture on WhatsApp and I select the picture but it didn’t upload.

If I completely change the angle the picture shows normal.

But if I try same angle or similar angles the picture doesn't show. do you guys think the problem is my camera or a software issue ? Should I return the phone or wait for a software update? Thank you so much, I hope I could explain it well
