Unable to pair my iPhone 16 to my iPad 9th generation

I have tried several times to try and pair these devices together. Bluetooth is on. It states that it was unable to pair, or not discoverable.

Apple devices typically work together using

  • Continuity features
  • iCloud synchronization
  • Connection to the same e-mail accounts
  • Find My

Some of these use Bluetooth, but not in the traditional pairing sense.
