Issues with iPhone 16 Pro Max – Speaker and Screen

Same problem here refering to speaker buzzing, any solution for that issue? How did they solve it for you?

I have the same issue on the 16 Pro Max (1TB Black - Verizon). I just got it a week ago and when I raise the volume to 60% on a phone call, the top speaker will start buzzing. It seems to mostly happen on Phone Calls. I haven't really noticed it with Music, Videos or Podcasts.

If my volume is up more than halfway on my new iPhone 16 Pro Max, anything other than a voice coming across the line sounds horrendous. For instance, if someone typing as they’re talking to me or looking for something and rummaging around, the sound of it has a piercing high end that gives me an absolute headache. It pokes through so loud that I have to keep turning it down. And then I can’t hear their voice basically. I literally need to get a different phone because I just don’t think I can do it unless they fix it. I get migraines.

same here lots of popping at the top speaker when turn it up past halfway, how to fix?

Yea same issue here, when the volume is higher the top speaker makes crackling sounds and sometimes when watching normal videos the audio shifts between left and right. The speakers also lower the volume at points and raise them back again(even when the volume is turned up completely) on music and videos. Hopefully Apple can fix this. There is no way they don’t know this is happening.

I’m having the same issue 16 pro max 1TB. When volume is turnt up it’s buzzing enough for my to notice . Really annoying, pretty sure it’s a speaker issue

Same thing has been happening and it’s only been two days with the iPhone 16 pro max. My issue is hearing the buzzing during FaceTime calls

I am getting same issue with top speaker. How can I solve this issue ?

The sound quality is not pleasant. The music sound is not nice. While talking, it feels irritating to the ears. It gives the impression as if I'm using a $50 phone. There's no premium feel at all.

I have the same problem with the too speaker . At high volumes, especially when talking on speakerphone, the sound is really annoying and noisy.

Apple ignored the issue with the iOS 18.2 update, despite my expectation of a solution. The top speaker rattles while on speaker mode, which seems common for iPhone 16 Pro models. I regret buying this phone and am disappointed with Apple’s product quality.

I thought apple will address this issue with the current update unfortunately it didn’t happen.its really disappointing to have this issue since the calling is the main function of a phone.hope apple will address this issue immediately.this is really annoying.

Same problems with my new iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB, Black ($1,695 ; Jan 02/2025 ). Creepy static sound, Microphone crackling, Speaker buzzing at increasing volume. Just an injustice to some high-quality music & video production I was trying to play on the iPhone. They sound a looooooot better on my old devices IPhone 7Plus, iPhone XR, 13, .. Not to mention problems with the Screen - readability, legibility, grayish & pale-white ... What a shame!!!

I have just bought a 16 pro it’s been a week and the same thing is happening my upper ear speaker voice is cracking when i am increasing the volume on call speaker this is happening mostly on calls while on speaker this is pathetic.
