I cannot copy images from keynote into pages on my desktop iMac. I can do it on my older laptop! Have to take screengrabs of images and copy these into pages? Not sure whats best fix for this?

Select the image in Keynote. The right panel will offer an Image tab. On that Image tab panel, you will see File Info and below it a tiny generic image icon and the filename. Click once and hold on the icon as you drag and drop it onto an open Pages document. Once the image is in the Page's document, visit the Arrange panel and set Text Wrap to None so you can move the image around in the document.
You have a provide feedback menu item on both Pages and Keynote application menus. That goes directly to the respective Apple product team, as no Apple employees participate here in these fellow user-supported, public communities.
Thank you that does work indeed. It does seem like a workaround a glitch however, since I don't need to do this on my laptop.Surely something Apple could address in software update.
