Can't find "Table Properties" under the Table tab in Format sidebar in Pages

I'm trying to create a page break above a table row in Pages. It's 2024. The AI generates steps I cannot follow. Apparently this function is available in the "Table Properties" section under the Table tab in the Format sidebar. There is no "Table Properties" section.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Apple has shipped no AI feature yet in macOS. You cannot split a table in Pages by inserting a line break, and you should not believe everything some AI tool suggests you can do.

Pages is no Microsoft Word clone, and Table Properties is a feature of Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer, and neither allows you to manually split a table on an arbitrary row.
