My son’s app Roblox disappeared off his iPad yesterday. The icon isn’t there and isn’t listed in his downloaded apps. When I go to download the only option I have is open. I press open and it says there are restrictions in place.
I want to delete the app and reinstall it but the app icon isn’t available to delete

Have you set up Screen Time with parental restrictions? If so, you'll almost certainly need to alter or disable those first before you can run that app. As to it not appearing, most likely it's just that the icon has been removed from the Home Screen. Look in the App Library and if it's there you can drag it back to an appropriate place.

not a dumb question at all. Yes I have restarted the iPad, it’s an IPad 10th generation and we are using family sharing. I have tried everything I’m so stuck
Happening now on my grandsons iPad. Did you ever figure it out?
I thought perhaps Family Sharing might be involved. I'm not at all expert with Family Sharing and how it might be affecting this issue, if at all, so perhaps someone else can offer suggestions.

Under Restrictions, Game centre controls, there is an option for “Apps”. When I changed it from 12+ to 17+, Roblox reappears. Ours iPads have been set as 12+ for ages, then randomly the app disappeared and only is there if we change it to 17+
Apple or Roblox must have changed the age restrictions from 12+ to 17+ for the app
Only if I change content restrictions to 17+ will the Roblox app reappear. 😡
Probably a dumb question in my part, but have you tried restarting the iPad? What model is it, and what version of iPadOS is it running? And are you using Family Sharing?
