Adjusting Photo exposure on a Pages Doc

When I try to lighten photos that I have in a Pages doc, they immediately become DARKER as soon as I move the cursor off the exposure slide bar. Just started happening recently and I can't think of anything that has changed. Help?

poor photo quality in pages I have a document in pages that's about 6 pages long; I've inserted several pics into the document and notice the quality of the photos continuously toggle from the original quality (good) to a much lower blurry quality (bad). When I use the "enhance" button in the image menu, it corrects the quality back to original, only to have some other photo in the document degrade in quality. Any ideas on how to get ALL photos enhanced without losing the quality? Thanks.

Photo wall pictures, on screen saver, are dark The photo wall that I use for a screen saver shows the pictures very dark which is not what they look like in Photos. I can't find a setting to adjust the contrast for the photo wall.
