How to resolve iCloud download errors for videos on my MacBook Air?

I cannot download my videos and photos from the cloud and need them quite urgently. The message I get is

'Error Downloading Video'

An error occurred while loading a higher

quality version of this video (or photo). Please try

again later.

I just completed the latest software update so not sure if this interrupts access to my photos? Very annoying when it such as costly service.

SO Please if anyone has similar experience with advice, YOU are most welcome to share
