Cannot start family sharing, my icloud info is used for shared purchases in *my husband’s name* family. Ask *moms name* to send you an invitation to join family sharing
I was trying set up a family sharing with my son’s new phone, now I’m getting a message: iCloud account is being used for shared purchases in my husband’s family. Ask *my husband’s name* to send you an invitation to join family sharing, with only an OK box.
We checked on my husband’s phone (note that he is no cybernetic at all) and family sharing is not configured. We tried configuring family sharing on his phone and sent me an invitation, but that link is not working.
We both are frustrated with this situation, since we bought that phone for our son’s birthday, and now we can’t configure it.
Apple support doesn’t give any option to speak or chat with a representative.
Does anybody knows how we can fix this issue?
