Podcast will not play, I tap Resume and it stops again. This is for all podcasts

I play podcasts on my iPad daily. I have updated to most recent software, I have deleted and reinstalled the podcast app. Still, I hit play, it runs maybe 2 seconds. I hit resume and again will not play any podcast. Advice? Thanks!

If I listen to a podcast and it gets interrupted by an advert in another app, when it restarts (on muting the ad) it skips back a few seconds, so I hear the same thing again. iOS 17.2.1 Podcast Issues I listen to podcasts on the Apple podcast app. Ever since I updated the iOS, my podcasts will not load. Sometimes an episode starts to play a for a few seconds but it stops to load some more. Eventually I get the “try again later” message. I’m on iPhone SE second generation.
