If I use Apple Card Monthly Installments, can I install my existing e-sim by Xfinity Mobile carrier?

If I buy my Phone at an Apple store and use Apple Card Monthly Installments, can I install directly my existing esim by Xfinity Mobile instead T-Mobile (for example)?

Can I activate new Iphone for existing Xfinity Mobile Line?

Purchase a T-Mobile iPhone directly from Apple on ACMI. The activation screen is bypassed by pressing continue button 3 times. After 3rd continue you should get a screen to activate later.

Now contact Metro and activate the eSIM on their network. Make sure Metro can activate eSIMs. Metro will need your IMEI. Settings > General > About > Scroll down.

It seems the only carrier locking eSIMs is AT&T. However, reports online state T-Mobile requires activation. You would need to cancel the plan and request a refund when you got home. You might have to pay an activation fee and one month of a plan. The safest might be Verizon. But there are few reports of how Verizon is handling it.

A safer approach might be to purchase an unlocked iPhone from Apple and when you get home call an Apple Card Specialist and request the charge be converted to an ACMI. If they won’t do it, request a supervisor. If they still won’t do it, return the iPhone within the 14 day return period.

When I try to order iPhone with T-Mobile plan through Apple.com I see following text:

ACMI is through your Apple Card. You can only convert a charge from your Apple Card. You monthly ACMI payments can come from another bank in most cases.
