No Internet Connection on Apple News

Since updating to iOS 18, I’m facing constant connection problems to Apple News- both on my iPhone 14Pro and iPad. The news feed does not get refreshed (shows “Offline” and “No Internet Connection”), and when I visit any media’s page, a message shows “Feed Unavailable, There may be a problem with server or network”- even though all other apps would be working fine over the internet. Had to cancel my News+ subscription, as it was pointless. Will a new update fix this?
