Showing folders in Music on Mac

I'm tied up in knots re the Music app even after looking through similar problems in the community.

My files are all here:

/Documents/Music/iTunes/Music

All "songs" can be found by a search in the Music app but I can't find any of the folders.

e.g. the "song" Ron Hambly... can be found but I can't find the folder "Genealogy and History" in the Music app.
