Will the iMac's keyboard and mouse work with the new Mac mini?

I have an old 2012 iMac along with keyboard and mouse, and will upgrade to the new Mac mini when it comes out. Will the keyboard and mouse work with the new Mac mini?

Perhaps I should have mentioned that the keyboard and mouse are both Apple Bluetooth models.

They should still work fine with a new Mac mini. Yes, you may need at least a wired mouse to set them though.

You may need a USB keyboard and mouse, to setup and get your older AA battery keyboard and mouse connected to the new Mac mini. FWIW most any USB Logitech, Generic or PC keyboard and mouse will work with the Mac mini for setup and/or everyday use.
