I lost my airpods before traveling and the location shows up in find my but it shows that the setup is incomplete. I can’t mark them as lost and I’m wondering if they’re connected to my icloud and if the person with them can claim them as theirs.

(Edit) But on the plus side they might not get controlled by someone you may find them again you never know maybe someone found them maybe someone didn’t we will never know
