I have a MacBook Air that's from 2020 and is currently using macOS 15.0 Sequoia. I have my software updated to the latest version, but time after time, it will freeze while I'm testing out the projects I'm working, leading to my computer hard-restarting. Has anyone ever experienced a similar issue?

When the application freezes can you force quit FCP? Or has the whole side frozen?
Whenever the application crashes you should trash the settings. Hold ⌥ ⌘ as you double click the library you want to open to launch the application. A dialog appears asking you if you want to Delete Preferences. If you don't do this while double-clicking your library, just opening the application, it will open a default Untitled library.
