Unable to receive or make calls from iPhone post iOS 18 update

I am facing similar isssue, as in call fails many times and that call doesn’t get registered in Call history. So sometime when some unknown caller calls, and call fails, I don’t have option to call back as that number is not registered in call history

Team… is there any resolution for call failed ??? Since ios 18 I am facing this issue a do you want your users to switch??? From ios to Android??? Need urgent assistance.

I am iPhone 13 user. Facing frequently called failed issue since ios18 update.

Hi… issue is not with SIM … how come the SIM which is working fine before ios 18 and not working after ios 18 update . Not possible.. issue with device only . They have sent bugs intentionally with the update for iPhone 13 so that users buy new iPhones.

Hi… Now it started on WhatsApp call also (CALL FAILED .. CALL FAILED.. CALL FAILED ) … Apple is not responding at all. Do anyone is having escalation matrix for Apple..

tried to called there customer care, but after few checks and 2-3 days of waiting . They again said it’s a carrier issue??? Seriously?? Network is showing perfect, no issue at all, they they don’t want to listen.. anyone please share matrix. Thanks

I can’t make a calls after install ios 18.2🥺

I’m also experiencing the same issue. It’s seems like I won’t receive calls if I’m in an app or active on my phone sine update. There’s not even a notification of a missed call or vm.

This is not a carrier issue I am pretty sure because I faced this on WhatsApp calls , FaceTime calls as well. I tested multiple times in flight mode with only WiFi on, even then it’s the same . They did it intentionally for older devices only I guess . Forcing us to upgrade .

I called Apple support- tried for at least an hour checking/testing my phone. Then asked me to call my network carrier. After hours of dealing with them we now know it is the Apple IOS recent updates!!! I have an iPhone 15

Is anyone also experiencing inability to reply to SMS texts since updating to the latest iOS 18? This accompanied with not receiving calls has rendered my iPhone 13 useless. I only receive voicemails and iMessage texts.

I had a same issue. I could not get incoming callings. Outgoing call is no issue.(FaceTime& text message are no issue. I can get callings via FaceTime)

I went to Verizon, and they replaced a new Sim. Then it works.

my phone is iPhone 13 Pro.

Hi I was having this problem to and I fixed by going to General > transfer or reset iPhone > reset network settings. I’m not sure if this will work for everyone but it’s what worked for me🙂
