How to share contacts on iCloud+ with Family?

We have icloud+ and family sharing.

We share our calendar and would like to share my contacts with her.

My wife doesn't have a Mac. She only has iOs devices

A separate apple ID doesn't seem reasonable.

I understand there is a way to create a group on my contact and share it with her.

How do I do this?

I am not aware of any group capability for contacts on iPhone. You may share individual contacts with her by using AirDrop via the method shown in “Share a contact” here.

”Sharing” should be qualified as what will happen is your wife will receive the contact in its current state. If you update the contact somehow, she will not get that update unless you share again.

I don’t understand why you said this. Hopefully you and your wife currently have separate Apple Accounts.
