The keyboard simply stops working with some NYT games. My last iPad with the similar keyboard never had an issue. This one will work for a while and then seem to lose connection. If I remove the iPad from the keyboard/case and re-attach, it will work again for awhile. Then lose it again. are there any settings that need to be adjusted or an easier way to re-establish the connection?? ds

I have tried this restarting multiple times - does not work.
I think this began right after doing the IOS 18 update.
Check if the keyboard works with other apps. This can help determine if the issue is specific to NYT Games. I had the same issue with an ios game, and managed to determine the problem in this way.
The NYT games app is the only one I’m having trouble with that I can tell. I have found that if I disconnect the keyboard even for a second, it will start working. Then after a while it stops again. This never happened with my last iPad/keyboard. I’m wondering if it’s a defective unit.
Try and restart your iPad to see if the issues persist
