proplem with writting on apple books

Hi I have a problem with writing on Apple Books app , the problem is that when I draw the line it dose not become straight as it was before and the square never forms as it was before ,please help me with this problem

I updated to iPadOS 16.4.1 and now my book in Apple Books is only showing odd numbered pages. I tried other books. Seems to be a glitch in Books. Tried restarting and that didn’t work. If I make the font very small it shows two columns and all pages. This doesn’t work for me, since my eyes are not the best. I’ve never had this issue before on any of my devices.

Auto Line straightening feature with Apple Pencil not working in Books on my iPad. Lines and figures I hand write in a pdf inside the apple Books app used to get 'straight' when I maintained the pencil tip for a few seconds in the end point of the line. Suddenly it stopped doing it. It still does it in other apps like apple Notes and others. I am not aware of any parameter that governs this behaviour, and that does not happen in another equal iPad with same level IOS and apps, so something happened to my pencil or iPad that I cannot figure out. I did uninstall and install the apple Books app but the error persists. Any ideas? [Re-Titled By Moderator]

Yeah, this is a bug that people have been commenting on for ages, I hope it’s fixed soon.
