Update on iphone 13 to iOS 18, Shazam activates, but dies recognize any music. All microphones are open! I have deleted and reinstalled the App, it starts but mo music identification… Can anyone help with this problem ?

This is precisely what is occurring on my iPhone 14 Pro as well. Both Shazam and Soundhound have stopped working (won't recognize any music) but choosing music recognition (Shazam) from the control center provides normal recognition. Shazam on my iPad functions normally so that rules out any filter lists, etc., at the router or device level. This is clearly a bug which Apple has introduced with iOS 18.

I’ve got this same issue however only on iPhone not iPad. The bizarre thing is it works if you choose music recognition from control centre but if you go via the app it doesn’t so that rules out a microphone issue. I tried an alternative music recognition app and strangely that didn’t work either.
Some issue here! any suggestion?
