After I downloaded IOS 18 I can no longer take pictures with my Iphone 13. I can open the camera app but when I want to take a picture the screen goes black and the camera app closes. In whatsapp I can just take pictures with the camera.

I have been in contact with Apple. What helped me is a forced restart. Which can be done as follows:
Press and release the volume up button.
Press and release the volume down button.
Hold the side button.
Release the side button when the Apple logo appears.
1. Consider whether it is turned off by the settings.
2. After confirmation, if it still cannot be opened, check the top of the back of the iPhone, next to the camera, to see if there is any mechanical damage or it is blocked by the phone case. If there are these problems, eliminate them first.
