Playing music stops for 1-2 seconds When the screen is locked

Hello,

After upgraded ios 18, Playing music stops for 1-2 seconds When the screen is locked. And When the screen is turn on musics stops for 1-2 seconds. This is also annoying because it is strongly effects my listening experience.

How can i solve this issue?

Apple music has been glitchy and CarPlay is unsuable since going to ios 18. When I lock the phone Apple Music pauses, when I unlock the phone Apple Music pauses. When using CarPlay, or not being able to use in my case, the sound is almost mono. I also can not get it to connect or play over the speakers most of the time. When I am able to use it, the sound is mono when the phone is mono and stereo when unlocked.

Music stops for a second when iPhone screen turns off or on Since updating to iOS 18 music stops for a second (like a micro freeze) whenever iPhone screen turns off or on (e.g when I lock my phone or when I receive a notification and the screen turns on). Music still plays in the background this only happens when a change happens to the screen. Tested with Spotify, apple music or a voice recording.
