I can't find my photos in Messages after iOS 18 update

Hi,

I just updated to iOS 18 and I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was trying to find a photo that I sent my son in a text conversation a few months back. I did what I normally do. I clicked on his photo at the top and tried to scroll down to all of the photos and links. They are now all gone. Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to get that history back? I can scroll and find it in the conversation but it is no longer easily available to find. Thanks for your help!
