Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16

just upgrade to the iphone 16 pro and bluetooth is stuttering with any devices, and doesn’t want to connect 90% of the time. Carplay, Garnin, Headphones.

I’ve tried turning off bluetooth, hard reset on the phone and still no luck….

Found the problem, if you guys did choose to setup your iphone from a backup or from your old iphone then you all will get the dame issue, if you did setup as a new iphone then you wouldnt have gotten the bluetooth issue, there is a fix, just go to Settings-General and then scroll down to reset iPhone and then choose Reset network setting, after that phone wil reboot and your Bluetooth will work as it should be!

I’ve been on the phone with Apple and Verizon for some 2 hours this morning. I even went by the Verizon store. Nothing they suggested worked. Bluetooth just spins and says “searching.” It doesn’t see my hearing aids. CarPlay doesn’t work. And so far nothing suggested in this forum solves the problem.

Just had another session with Apple advanced tech support after thinking their previous software reset had solved the problem - it didn't. They ran diagnostics and recorded data and sent it to engineering, but engineering doesn't work on weekends, so I won't hear anything more for a few days.

I finally fixed the bluetooth issue I had with my Bose speakers. My phone was showing the speakers but wouldn't connect. I had tried everything from forgetting the device to rebooting iPhone, doing the network settings thing suggested, etc. In the end I had to reset the speakers themselves and then repair them.

Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16Pro upgrade purchase from VERIZON WIRELESS continues to vex this user...connection initiation and/or connection persistence issues on multiple devices e.g. iPad, Carplay, Headphones, Garmin, etc. Multiple resolution attempts e.g. iPhone network reset ALL FAILED

Upgraded my iPhone 16 pro max to iOS 18.0.1 but still cannot connect via bluetooth to my Richo GRIII camera and Omron device. They were fine with iPhone 15 pro max and I have tried resetting network settings on iPhone 16. Fortunately CarPlay and the iWatch bluetooth connections seem reliable.

Same here.... I got an iPhone 16 max pro, & this phone won't connect to my 2024 Honda CRV via Bluetooth at ALL! This is SOO FRUSTRATING! Oh & btw, I also have an Oral B io8 brush; not connecting either, yet on my old iPhone 11 Pro Max, both devices connect no problem. APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS SH*T! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!

I was having the exact same issues with my car until I went to the car’s Bluetooth and deleted every other phone that had ever been paired with it. Once I did that and restarted the car and the iPhone 16, the 16 finally paired, finally, after 3 weeks of trying. Before this the car and phone recognized each other but would not pair.

Good afternoon,

I spoke to Apple's assistant in Portugal about the problem. And it has been forwarded to the engineers. Support says that they haven't had many reports and if there are, it's been reported here on the forum that they have no way of checking and escalating the issue. So for a heavenly resolution, it's a good idea to contact Apple support and report the problem as well. That's what I was told. Now I'm waiting. I've done everything and it doesn't work. Thank you

I was excited to try today's IOS 18.2 update with AI. Unfortunately the AI and new IOS don't help my Bluetooth issues. Mind blown that the iPhone 16 can't even do what previous models did.

I have a lot of Bluetooth devices connected to my iPhone 16 Pro Max without any issues. Maybe if you tell us what issues you're having, what you're trying to pair, how you've tried to pair them, someone might be able to help you.

Cannot pair M2 with iphone 16. iPhone sees M2, but M2 does not see iPhone. They both see all other devices nearby. So, it seems iPhone 16 does not send out proper signals so it can be seen and paired. Updated to IOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2 with no success.
