hi i installed ios 18 release on iphone 15 pro and my camera does not scan qr codes i have a question how to fix it i dont use macbook or ipad i have windows laptop thanks in advance for the answer

opened control center
click on the barcode scan icon
get the barcode scan thingy
point it at the computer monitor with the
and it opened my iphone browser to the url in the QR

it works on my iphone with ios18
I just had the same problem too. same iphone model and iOS18
I had to disable and re-enable QR code scanning by going to Settings > Camera > Scan QR Codes.
I tried scanning the code again, it initially took a few seconds longer than normal to detect but each subsequent scan of other codes seems to be back to normal function.
I hope this was the only problem.
