Upgraded to iPhone 16 pro and now im unable to add a debit card to my Apple Pay I tried everything resetting the phone calling my bank everything nothing works is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix this any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re receiving the terms & conditions, either the bank or the Payment Network Operator (Mastercard, Visa, American Express etc.) are Red Flowing your card and stopping it from being added. Apple is not a bank and does not approve or decline cards for Apple Pay. Only the issuing bank and PNO can verify and approve your card.
Honestly I’ll try anything I was already on the phone with Apple they couldn’t figure it out even did the share screen access and the support guy said everything was up to date so honestly I’ll try anything
I definitely think it’s the software I never had a problem until I got the new phone I even tried my husband card and it still didn’t add I get to the agreement part approve everything and said can’t be added
What is the exact error message you receive when trying to add a card to Apple Wallet?
Do you receive the terms and conditions from you bank and agree to them, or do you receive the error notice before receiving terms and conditions?
I got the same error message as acahir, even when trying to add my Apple Card ironically.
Were you able to fix it at all? Or are you still having trouble adding it
