Problem with RAW photo iPhone 12 Pro

Hi, I’ve got problem with Raw photos. When I took photo in RAW format everything is fine but after that, I saw issue with preview of majority of photos (90% of them). I have dark grey tiles in my gallery and I have problem with send some of them to iCloud.

ps. I have this problem after new IOS 18 update.

Somebody know how to fix that?

I have the same problem on my iPhone 12Pro. When the picture is being saved it turns black. The file is corrupt.

It only happens when there are bright skies and dark parts in the Photo. I think HDR is triggered when the photo is being saved. What is strange! On raw format should be no HDR processing. When I take the same picture in HEIF there is no problem. Very annoying bug.

After contact with apple support, I received answer and solution about problem with RAW photos.

I solved that problem using this method:

-> If you forgot your iPhone passcode, use your Mac or PC to reset it - Apple Support

To solve this problem You need to use Mac or PC to download again update on Your iPhone (iOS 18).

Don't pay attention to the title of the article!! :) Do it step by step an it should work.

Regards!

Thank You for answer! Im not alone with that problem. To be honest it’s weird bug and what’s happened after update. But! Check Your gallery because all of my RAW photos in my IPhone, which I took few days ago just come back to my gallery and now I can edit them, share etc. In my opinion it was problem with synchronization RAW photos with iCloud.
