New Stickers Disappear Immediately (iOS 18 Messages App)

I can confirm that backing up to iCloud, erasing all content, setting up as new, erasing again and then restoring from iCloud backup fixed it for me. It’s a pain but it works. 

Alternatively, iOS 18.2 will be released on 12/9 and possibly it might fix it. 

Really Apple? Using iPhones since the 3GS and I hate everything about iPhones and the Home Pods. Nothing really works. Whst exactly is ur issue here to get stickers to work?!? Just pathetic at this point. HomePods are trash as well. I‘m so frustrating and may stop using Apple products soon. Bye.

Never had this problem with my iPhone 12. Just upgraded to iPhone 16 that automatically came with 18.2 software update, and I have this exact issue. Frustrating to see it’s continued over a couple months with no resolution. Do better Apple.

For anyone wondering, it’s Jan 6, 2025 and the issue has yet to be resolved. I actually came here seeking answers and I see that we’re all in the same boat. How unfortunate, Apple. Get your s*** together!

Same here: iPhone 15 with iOS 18.0 and stickers disappear as soon as a I create them… unusable as is…

Apple, please show us we pay high price for a good reason, and fix this (and other bugs) …

I have the same problem and I sincerely hope that Apple will fix it as soon as possible. At the price of the Iphon, this is already an imposition!

I’m experiencing the same issue with the iPhone 16 Pro. The iOS 18.1 update didn’t resolve it either.

With 18.1 no change :( still not working

have apple ever acknowledged this is a problem and are they even looking at it 🤷‍♂️

Same problem with iPhone 14 pro Max. Stickers have disappeared from the keyboard and impossible to add them.

I'm on iOS 18.1 and with every update there's something that doesn't work anymore...

I found them. They don’t live in with the emojis. There’s a little icon next to the text box on WhatsApp ( haven’t tried messaging yet)

the one next to the camera icon. They’re all hiding in there😁. Can’t find them to add to this post though😡 and as above can create for use on other apps. Only seem to work in WhatsApp.
