New Stickers Disappear Immediately (iOS 18 Messages App)

Hey Apple… When are you gonna fix this problem that has been ongoing since September???

Super frustrating that I just got a brand new iPhone 16 Pro and I can’t use these super cool features that you have installed!!

I did a total phone restore tonight, didn’t fix one single thing.

Not just the iPhone 16, it’s iOS 18 problem because it’s the same failure on my iPad 10. And, all the stickers on my iPhone 15 Pro Max vanished when I got my new iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Just had the 18.1 update and the stickers still just disappear. This did not happen on my iPhone 12 but it is happening on this new 16 pro max. Come on Apple fix this!

I have the same issues my stickers have all disappeared and I can’t add new ones without them disappearing plus some of my 🤩 have black spots where they’re normally an emoji

Toggling the stickers from emoji setting does not work for me.

The public release of 18.2 will correct the stickers disappearing issue. Apple has confirmed this.

IOS 18.2 stickers work again !!!!!!!!!

Same I just got the iPhone 16 and all the stickers I used to have on my other phone disappeared when I was transferring all the data.

apple please fix this I want my stickers back:(

Well. Did a cloud backup, after which I reset the phone, and restored from same backup.

This and few other minor issues are gone, everything’s working now.

Couple of hours nuisance, mostly because waiting for everything to download.

All I had to do again, was adding cards to Apple Pay. Even watch was like nothing ever happened.

So, just do this.

This happened on my work unit. Set up a new for me 13 using quick transfer from my 11 while both were on 17.7. Then upgraded the 13 to iOS 18 and same issue with stickers no longer there after the upgrade and trying to add stickers they disappear after one second on the screen. I had hoped 18.0.1 would fix it but it didn’t and hopefully it will get fixed in a future update because the idea of having to erase the whole phone and restore everything to resolve it seems so ridiculous to me.

iPhone 14 Pro,running iOS 18.1 I’ve been running the latest software since release. Stickers disappeared as of today. Power cycle didn’t fix it. Also unable to save stickers from existing text threads.

I fixed this on my IOS18 iPhone this morning! I noticed yesterday that all my stickers were gone, and I was unable to make or create new stickers from my photos. This morning, I turned off a setting In keyboard that said send stickers from emoji keyboard. All of a sudden, all my stickers came back and I was able to save stickers successfully again! Good luck out there!

Thank you to Apple in the US and Customer Support for all your help. Software 18.2 has solved stickers issue for me. I am glad stickers are back and the bloom feature is great as well. 😃.

I hope anyone else who has issues re stickers reports this through Analytics and Improvements as I was advised to do. I agree with comments on here, the more info passed to Apple on devices affected the more this issue can be fixed. 🤞

Issue was finally fixed for me after downloading 18.3 a few minutes ago. At first when went to messages and chose to add sticker or said I didn’t have any, but when created a new one it saved and didn’t delete. Then when went to my photos and created another one, when it saved it showed all my old stickers back. When went back to messages and tried to add a sticker again, this time all my old stickers were there as well as new ones just created.

Woww what a drag. Were stickers the only thing having that issue ?
