Transparency with Amplification switching off on Airpods Pro 2

I use my Airpods as hearing aids and am very satisfied with their effectiveness for my personal level of hearing loss. I have 3 pairs of Airpods Pro 2 and 2 pairs of Airpods Pro 1. Always carry a spare set in my pocket. Since upgrading to the latest firmware 7A302 Transparency with Amplification turns OFF every few minutes leaving them useless as hearing aids. Fortunately this problem does not occur with my Airpods Pro 1 so I do have an alternative hearing aid. Apple Support has been great and advise that the bug is being addressed and hopefully a fix will be forthcoming quickly. There must be thousands of users that are dependant on their Airpods Pro 2 to hear in this same situation. Perhaps this will speed up the release of the actual OTC Hearing Aid software upgrade now it has received FDA approval.
