I dont know if its just me and this is normal or is the battery life just awful. Charged to full at 10.30am now at 3.45pm down at 31%

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18
The battery on my iPhone 16 Pro Max is nothing short of GREAT. I got up at 8:00 AM this morning. Admittedly, I haven't pushed my phone hard today, with just a few phone calls and watching some YouTube videos, but 12 hours later, my battery is at 96% currently. I think that's fantastic, to say the least.
When was the last time you Force Restarted your iPhone (something I do typically at least once a week and ALWAYS after any iOS update? --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
I am experiencing this too. My iPhone 16 Pro overheats, freezes and apps keep crashing.
Yesterday I watched the battery drain from full to just 40% in 4h and today it’s gone down from full to 65% in just over 2h.
I find the overall performance and battery life is far worse than my iPhone 14 Pro.
My iPhone 16 Pro battery is behaving just fine.
mine seems to be dying, pretty fast too, even after a few days of letting phone backup fully install from a few days ago. Let me know if you figure anything out!
