Typing "s" in iPhone Search bar causes it to crash

Just got my 16 pro, and as I’m trying to use the swipe down - search for an app, when I type the letter “s” the search crashes. Anyone else?

Solved! Just got off of the phone with Apple and this worked for me.

Settings, General, Dictionary, uncheck “Spanish” and “Spanish-English”

”S” now works in spotlight search.

Apple rep says the engineering team is working on a permanent fix.

Same here. Very frustrating and reboot fixes it for about 30 seconds. If I immediately follow “s” with another letter the search will work but you have to be really quick. Typing “s” alone will not work. Someone messed up somewhere. I’m hoping that the great minds at Apple will resolve this quickly.

I am facing similar issue with iPhone SE but with the difference that it crashes with any of the following letters: "n", "i", "c", "g", "k", ":", ";", "@", ".", ",", "" ", "!", "0", "9", "7", "5". Typing any one of these and the keyboard crashes - clears itself - pops back up, but cannot write anything starting with any of these characters. The whole search has become useless.

I removed all dictionaries as suggested, restarted a bunch of times, unfortunately to no avail.
