With the new iOS 18 update and RCS being enabled, I should be able to add an android-rcs user to a group chat. Everyone in the chat with an iPhone has updated and confirmed RCS is on. When trying to add the android user it's defaulting to starting a new chat. The expected behavior with this update is that they would simply be added and the chat would change from iMessage to RCS. Anyone else having this issue? I do not want to start new chats.
One day it wants to work but the next it's over. The text also start a new thread... Ridiculous. Sometimes my messages within the RCS group chat doesn't even go through and I have to send them SMS... Very much so aggravating.
