iOS 18, iCloud and GarageBand app

I updated to iOS 18 and now GarageBand is unable to see any updated files in iCloud. Anything I change in iCloud does not appear in GarageBand iOS.

GarageBand app offloaded and files lost My GarageBand app was auto-offloaded by my phone. This has happened a couple of times in the past, so I wasn't terribly worried, but when I re-downloaded it, it said that there were only five files in my "GarageBand for iOS" folder. I know for a fact I had significantly more work than that saved. I have it set to upload my files to iCloud, and in the past they've shown up there, but when I logged into iCloud on my computer to restore them, it similarly said that there were only five GarageBand files and that there was nothing for me to restore anywhere. I've tried just about everything I could find about this topic, and I can't find any solution. I didn't do anything to it, I just re-downloaded the app after my phone independently offloaded it. Isn't the data supposed to be stored when that happens, and either way, shouldn't the fact that I know it was previously stored in iCloud at least mean that it would show up in recently deleted files? Is there any way to recover the files that seem to have been automatically deleted, or have they just completely vanished? Is this a bug that others have seen happen?

All my GarageBand files are GONE My GarageBand was offloaded because of lack of space but last time I did this when I opened it everything was still there, this time I opened and all my songs are gone, there is nothing, not even in the cloud or deleted files. How can this happen? Everything I ever worked on was there, it is simply missing now I don’t understand

iPadOS 16.2 - GarageBand now says “the file doesn’t exist” when sharing songs using “save to files” My iPad just auto-updated to iPadOS 16.2 the other day. Now, when I try to export a song from GarageBand (iPad) it says “the file doesn’t exist… the file “my song.m4a” couldn’t be copied because it either doesn’t exist or the folder it is being copied to doesn’t exist” when sharing song using “save to files”. Normally I save files to iCloud, but I also have tried saving to a folder in the iPad. Same error so there must be something wrong with the new iPadOS and GarageBand iPad. I have been using iPad GarageBand and saving songs to files for years with no trouble, so this is a brand new problem. Please help!

Update: Its iCloud in my phone, not GarageBand. Nothing in iCloud in my phone updates anything I added to iCloud from other devices, like my computer. However, if I add a new file to iCloud in my phone, it updates on my computer. Something with iOS 18 because I never had this issue before.

anybody else? if not, I guess I'm looking at a clean install :(

It wasn't garageband, it was icloud. Signed out on my devices and signed back in, everything is syncing again.
