I have been looking everywhere, is there any way to disable the auto-looping of videos in the Photos app in iOS18?
After upgrading iOS18, if I play a video to auto-repeats in an endless loop until I stop it where in the past it would stop at the end of the video.

I also would like to know how to turn that off.
If you want Apple to know what you want to see in Photos (like that you need to be able to disable the looping), you should make the suggestion through their official channel for such matters: Feedback - Photos - Apple
You will likely not receive any response, but Apple does claim to have people who read and track messages sent through the portal to channel the results to decision-makers within the company. Of course, that doesn't mean they will agree with your request, but if enough people make it, then they might.
Unfortunately there is no way to disable looping. Apple seems to think everyone using an iPhone is of the tik tok mentality and enjoys continuously looping videos.
