I am using a 2017 iMac with OS 13.6.9. Using an outboard display with this computer, in dual-display mode, when I turn the outboard display off, the brightness of the iMac display often (not always though) goes to maximum brightness, even when I have set the brightness of this display to a lower level. Is this an inherent bug or can I fix it somehow?
In Displays settings is Automatically adjust Brightness set to ON?
