I have an iPhone 13, and I'm thinking of updating it to iOS 18. Before I do that, I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with this update on the iPhone 13. Are there any known issues or performance problems I should be aware of? Would you recommend going ahead with the update, or should I wait?

For what it's worth, I've had absolutely no problems on my iPhone 12 which is of course earlier than yours. So I doubt that you'd have any problems. That said, I'm of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp, so unless there are features available on your iPhone 13 with iOS 18 that you really want right now or there's an app that you want that only supports iOS 18 (doubtful but I can't say it's impossible), then there's no harm in waiting. I would, however, suggest that if you opt to wait on iOS 18 that you do update to iOS 17.7, since there are important security fixes contained in that version.

I updated my iphone 13 , I have no issues with the performance or battery but some features of the update are not there like the changes in messages app and the changes in the flashlight.
