how do you make a formula in numbers

Hi, I’ve tried to find an UTD formula video on you tube, but i can’t find one

Ive opened the help option, but my answer is not there, probably because I’m in the wrong place.

1. i don’t have headers on my spreadsheet
2. the word “numbers” for the appp I’m using is not the top line on my sheet?
3. 3 where is the insert option?
4. how do i find how to get a total, of two separate columns. I want to multiply row E by Row b and get a total.
5. how do i do this. I keep getting a syntax error and i don’t know what that means.
6. ‘i have not used excel so im a clean slate to learn.

7 why isn’t the little apple in top left corner on this number software. I’m in full view and that row is not visabl3.
