I Clicked to leave which gave the choice to save, but when I clicked Save, they both vanished.
Try Find Any File. It searches a few more locations than Apple’s Spotlight.
Consider spelling variations, in case you mistyped or misspelled.
It can also find all files with a given modification date.

I eventually found it in Recents, so I moved it into a file I call 'All my stuff'.

Where would 2 spreadsheets be found in Finder. I created 2 more or less identical spreadsheets with the tile Income and Expenditure as at 14-9-2024. I can't find them in Finder.
