I am unable to download and use a file on Pages

I have a large document I work with and add to almost daily. Yesterday, while working on it, it went away and now I can’t seem to be able to download it from any device. I asked the community and saw the last time there were questions about this was 2012. Please help!

Unable to open file on iPad I was using my file app on my iPad to markup a pdf file for weeks, now all of sudden it won't let me open the file anymore. I tried turning off my iPad and doing an IOS update and it still will not work. I even tried going to icloud.com on my laptop to open the file and it won't open. Unable to Download Item I get this message when I try to start Pages. Unable to Download Item. Please try again later The iPad is old but running the latest version I can get I’ve tried turning it off and on again I have several documents sitting in the Pages app which I’m keen not to lose. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
