Getting e-mails not downloaded from server

Some of my e-mails have the message “Message not downloaded from the server.” How do I get these messages?

message not downloaded from server I know this is a common problem - email arrives with “message not downloaded from server” and there’s no other content. Kind of random - some emails open, others don’t. Is an issue on our iPhones and iPads, not our Mac. This is a Verizon/Yahoo account - not an issue with my gmail account. Tried forced restart with Apple chat support - didn’t work. Very frustrating for emails we need to open right away such as password resets, etc. Opening the Verizon/Yahoo email account through the browser - no issues.

Mac email with no content My email client on my new mac had a bunch of emails with the message "This message has no content". But the same email on my iphone does have content. Any ideas on how to fix this?
