Failed to Activate Brand new MacBook Air..

Hi! I’ve bought a MacBook Air m2 two days ago and I’ve tried to transfer my data from my old MacBook to the new one, but most of my applications weren’t working properly and I’ve decided to just erase my new MacBook to have it as a new MacBook with no old data and then when I did that I can’t activate my new MacBook and it keeps saying “failed to activate” and when I try to restart my MacBook it doesn’t work and it just keeps looping. I’ve tried speaking to MANY people on apple support but they couldn’t help me with my issue, can anyone please help?

I’m experiencing the same issue with my M1 Mac. After speaking with an Apple Senior Advisor, I was told that there is a server-side issue on Apple’s end, and unfortunately, there’s no clear timeline for when it will be resolved.


Personally, I suspect this might be related to some changes or adjustments they’re making in connection with the upcoming Apple event, but according to the advisor, once the server issue is fixed, the activation should go through smoothly. I’m going to wait for a few days and see if it resolves itself.
