How do you change which contact is listed first in a group chat?

I know this is silly and I’m probably the only one who has ever thought of this lol but how do you change which contact is listed first in a group chat?

For example, if I ever text MOM & DAD, my mom is always listed first. If I text WJ and BF, WJ is always listed first.

I have deleted the groups and selected the other person first, deleted them from my contacts and added them back, but no matter what I do, there are always certain people who are listed first in a group and there is no rhyme or reason that I can think of as to why, but, I would like to change it and no, a group name change won’t suffice.
