How Can I Share a Specific List of Contacts with Someone?

Hi everyone,

I have a list of contractors stored in the Contacts app that I’d like to share with my wife. The list needs to be ever-changing, meaning both of us should be able to add, edit, and remove contacts as needed, with changes syncing in real-time across our Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac).

Is there a way to share a specific group or list of contacts with her, so both of us can manage it together? If so, what’s the best way to set it up?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can share contacts with others, but you cannot simultaneously modify those contacts and sync them in real time between both your Apple ID accounts. If you were to do that, you guys would have to share an Apple ID, which Apple heavily doesn’t recommend.

To share contacts to others, use two fingers to drag down and select all your contacts, then hold on them and select Share.
